PRAHA, 9. října 2019 – Kalendář Pirelli 2020 nafotil Ital Paolo Roversi. Věnuje se módní fotografii, pracoval pro časopis Elle v Paříži, kterou nikdy neopustil. Vytváří intimní, tajuplné fotografie, které spojují realismus s iluzí, prostý obraz s magií. Proto také dostal šanci zapsat se do historie kalendáře Pirelli. Paolo Roversi si jako kulisy vybral italskou Veronu, město Romea a Julie.
Fotografův projekt zahrnuje herečky a zpěvačky různých kultur, vychází ze shakespearovského dramatu lásky, síly, mládí a krásy zastoupené hlavní postavou Julie. Roversi si vybral devět osobností, aby ztvárnili roli Julie. Patří mezi ně britské herečky Claire Foy, Mia Goth a Emma Watson, americké herečky Indya Moore, Yara Shadidi a Kristen Stewart, čínská zpěvačka Chriss Lee, španělská zpěvačka Rosalia a francouzsko-italská umělkyně Stella Roversi.
Kalendář Pirelli 2020 si odbyde svou premiéru v italské Veroně počátkem prosince 2019. V České republice bude představen o několik dní později. Každoročně jsou s kalendářem Pirelli spojeny charitativní dražby. Nejinak je tomu i v České republice. Dražba proběhne ještě před Vánocemi a výtěžek z ní bude tradičně určen pro Masarykův onkologický ústav v Brně.
